On our end, a task is typically about an hour of work. A straightforward request like submitting an application is 1 task. A finished social media post is usually 2 tasks because it takes about two hours end to end. Roughly, the Starter plan gives you seven hours of work each month.

It depends. Simple pieces of work fit inside a single task. Bigger projects take more. A winning government contract bid, for example, often includes RFP engagement calls, outreach to partners to strengthen the bid, and prep work like setting up SBA or minority-owned certifications. The cleanest way to size a project is to start on a plan, drop the details into Paulean, and the team will review the scope and give you an estimated task count before doing any work.

You can cancel any future month at any time from your account. The current month is not refundable and unused days do not roll over. No long-term contract.

Passwords live in Keeper Security, a zero-knowledge password manager with AES-256 encryption, SOC 2 (10+ years), ISO 27001, ISO 27017, ISO 27018, HIPAA compliant, and FedRAMP High Authorization. Keeper itself cannot decrypt or view what is stored. We do not train third-party AI models on your data.
